Discussions in micro-credentialing. Making a case for innovation and skills development.

A quick post this morning. I was very happy to be included in the inaugural discussion for the Vermont Learning Cooperative around leveraging skills assessment, playlists, and micro-credentialing in the classroom. If you have a few minutes, please take the time to watch some of the interviews. I have had the pleasure of having conversations with Kyle and Andrea at Orleans Elementary School. They are crafting a program that is not only innovative, but puts student voice at choice at the forefront of learning.

Read, watch, and think about how each of you can be the person that creates a space that engages and challenges students in a new way. It can be a risk, but that is our job. Pushing students to become the best version of themselves.

I ask you, why not?
